TechCrunch Disrupt Is Coming To Berlin – 4-5 December, 2017
TechCrunch Disrupt, the World’s leading event in debuting and showcasing some of the most revolutionary startups is coming to Berlin this December.
Disrupt will be taking over Kreuzberg’s, Arena Berlin for the 4th and 5th of December 2017 bringing along it’s famous Startup Alley, hackathons, thought leadership and of course Startup Battlefield!
This year some of the World’s leading early stage startups will compete for the Disrupt Cup, a $50,000 prize and the opportunity to impress and showcase to investors and media at the Startup Battlefield. Since Disrupt started, Battlefield Alumni have collectively raised over $6.6 billion with past winners including now established companies such as Dropbox, Mint and Yammer. Judges will include TechCrunch editors as well as top VCs and entrepreneurs. Entries to compete are now closed.
Startup Alley will be showcasing hundreds of early-stage companies looking to impress attendees with their talent and technologies. Many of these companies will be launching for the first time and looking to gain recognition by becoming the “Wild Card Winner” which enables them entry to the Startup Battlefield.
The Hackathon weekend takes place on the weekend before the main conference (2-3 December), pitting developers and engineers against each other in a 24-hour hacking endurance test. Historically products created at the Disrupt Hackathon have enjoyed success beyond the weekend including GroupMe which was created overnight and ultimately acquired by Skype for $80M.
A strong lineup of speakers and judges will be present at the event this year, a full list can be found here.
