Olympus Photography Playground Berlin
I got a chance to visit the photography playground that Olympus set up in Berlin. It had a series of 12 or so installations that were all mean to be explored and photographed, some of them more interactive than others. I was actually more impressed with the installations as works of art themselves than I was interested in the photography aspect. The place was crawling with people, many of whom weren’t very familiar with, ummm, cameras. Upon entry everyone has the change to play with the new OM-D Em camera by Olympus or you can of course take your own around the installations. The organization of the warehouse was great, they had an amazing little cafe set-up and some great installations from world-renowned artists.
The playground is located at Opernwerkstätten, Zinnowitzer Straße 9, 10115 and is open 11am-7pm until April 25th. Entry is free.
